On September 24, a distinguished delegation of German educators visited our district as part of an international exchange. Hosted by our district and invited by renowned UBC educators Drs. Judy Halbert and Linda Kaser, the group traveled to Vancouver with the support of the Robert Bosch Foundation.
The week-long visit intended to foster dialogue on the evolving education system in British Columbia, with a particular focus on inclusion and learner well-being. The delegation was particularly interested in exploring the district's initiatives to create a more inclusive system for Indigenous students, immigrant learners, and students with diverse abilities.
